Insurance Loss Adjusting

By careful management of caseloads, we are able to remain intimately involved with every property claim. This means we can ensure the following:
  • Efficient response to instructions and early site attendance
  • One point of contact for insurer and insured throughout the life of the claim
  • Minimising claim spend
  • Positive experience for the claimant
  • Proactive claim management with service levels usually exceeded
  • Transparent activity logs and invoicing

Classes of claim include the following:
  • Domestic claims (fire, burglary, water, impact, accidental damage etc.)
  • Landlord claims
  • Strata claims
  • Small – medium commercial property claims
  • Business interruption claims

Geographical Reach

Due to the ease and simplicity of our reporting systems, our team is highly mobile and can be deployed almost anywhere in the country at very short notice. We regularly undertake interstate assignments for a number of our clients.

We also serve most regional South Australian areas including the following:
  • Mt Gambier
  • Port Lincoln
  • Whyalla
  • Port Pirie
  • Moonta

We now have a full-time adjuster located in Loxton to serve the Riverland and Mallee districts as far as Murray Bridge and the Barossa Valley.

Major Loss Assessing

Through dual approach to any major loss, the loss adjuster and building inspector will attend the site simultaneously. While the adjuster supports the insured with the emotional aspect of the claim, the building inspector will assimilate the scope of works to the fullest detail to allow requests for tenders to be submitted to builders straight away. In this way, the speed in which quotes are received is maximized while the length of time before works start can be minimized.

Furthermore, with the adjuster being able to concentrate on organising accommodation, emergency payments and contents replacement, the policyholder perceives their claim is being prioritized to the highest level.

Risk Assessing

When there is a requirement for the insurer to know the risk prior to offering cover we can attend and provide a risk assessment. This invaluable information can assist in determining the level of cover and identifying any potential factors which may give rise to a claim.

Typical factors reviewed include the location of the property, its current condition, security and external contributors such as bodies of water and other influences in the locale.

Insurance Valuations

Insurers and insureds alike sometimes need to establish the value of the property they are looking to cover. We can provide an insurance valuation based on the latest building rates by assessing the physical size of the property combined with the build quality level. We then factor in other elements at the property to provide a value at risk to ensure the appropriate level of cover.
